Singer, ballad maker & bass player Ronnie Lane (April 1, 1946 - June 4, 1997) (nicknamed "Plonk") is best known for his membership within both large British rock group, The Small Faces (1965-69) and The Faces (1970-75). He quit A Faces around 1973 & formed his have band Slim Chance in 1973 to record the album Any longer For Anymore, showcasing his have blend of British rock, folk & country and western.
Fallowing initial profits by using a singles "How Come" & "The Poacher" (a latter drawn from either a album) he moved to Island Records and issued ''Ronnie Lane's Slim Chance & 1 For The Road. He recorded an album sustaining Pete Townshend, Rough Mix and the final major solo album Understand Us''.
